SoundCoaster is operated by Leave No Crumbies LLC. This policy explains how we use information when you use SoundCoaster. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@soundcoaster.com.
Information you provide
We process account information, such as your name, email address and account identifiers, to sign you in and provide your Profile. We also process the music selections, notes, saves, follows and other content you choose to create or use. Your Profile may include a display name, handle and profile image.
Connected music services
When you connect a music provider and approve an import, we process the authorized music activity to support that feature. Imported activity stays private unless you choose to publish content from it. Opening a track in an external music service is subject to that service's terms and privacy practices.
Sharing your content
Public content can be seen by others. Anyone with an Unlisted link may access it. Private content is restricted by the product's access controls. Recipients may copy or share content they receive.
Services and purchases
We use Clerk for authentication; Supabase, Render and Vercel for hosting and storage; and RevenueCat to process and reconcile optional support tips. Apple handles App Store payments. Tips are associated with your SoundCoaster account and do not unlock a paid benefit. These services process information needed to provide their functions, including account or transaction identifiers and technical request information.
Usage and safety information
When product analytics is enabled, PostHog processes selected interactions, including app opens, playback actions and publishing events. These help us understand and improve SoundCoaster. We also process technical information to operate and protect the service, and reports and support requests to investigate concerns. Hiding Creator insights changes their display on your device; it does not turn off analytics collection.
Retention and deletion
We retain information as needed to provide the service, handle support and safety concerns, reconcile transactions and meet applicable obligations. You can request account deletion in Settings → Delete account. The app offers retry if cleanup cannot finish.
Deletion removes or anonymizes account information and associated content. Privacy-safe aggregates and required transaction records may remain. Backup copies expire separately, and deletion-suppression records help prevent deleted content from returning after recovery.
Your choices and requests
You can choose what to publish, manage connected music services and request account deletion in the app. Contact us to request access to or correction of your information, or for help if you cannot access your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Young users
SoundCoaster is intended for people aged 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address the request.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change.
